Martian Empires is a set of fast-play big battles rules for Victorian Science Fiction games. The rules cover the Martian Cephalod invasion of Earth in 1880, and the corresponding British invasion of Mars led by General Gordon, and the Scramble for Mars by other European powers.

Martian Empires Scenario Competition

We are running a scenario competition for the Martian Empires rules and background. We are looking for scenarios which follow these rules:
1) The scenario must be designed for Martian Empires and use the armies within the Martian Empires main rulebook
2) The scenario must follow the format of the scenarios provided
in the Martian Empires rulebook with:
-
a map
-
briefing for both sides
-
details
of each force with points
-
setup details
-
victory conditions.
3) Each winning scenario will be published on the Martian Empires
website.
4) By entering the competition, the entrant gives the right to Black Hat Miniatures
to publish their entry on the website (any additional scenarios beyond the
winning 3 will receive £10.00 in credit against Black Hat figures).
5) The entries will be judged by Mike Lewis, author of Martian Empires and his decision is final.
6) The deadline for entry to the competition is 30th April 2012, entries should be emailed to mike@blackhat.co.uk
